Queensland Coastline Capture project images

Aerial images were captured during the Queensland Coastline Capture project in 2013/2014 within the Torres Strait and northern Great Barrier Reef, using a Vexcel UltraCamX large format digital aerial camera.

Imagery were captured at ~3800 m for ground sample distances of 30 cm and timed to coincide with low-water over coral reefs and islands for purposes of determining the territorial sea baseline.

These selected images were clipped from mosaics at 1:5000 scale (2500 m x 1360 m). Imagery courtesy of Geoscience Australia.
