How to name a reef
May 05, 2025

How do you name a reef in the Great Barrier Reef? One way is to propose a name to the Queensland Government, responsible for naming reefs lying within Coastal Waters on the GBR.

Information on the Monument Reef Place Name Proposal, and to making a submission can be found at ‘Have your say’
